Fantasy Hero (s) of Opening Day

So here is my fantasy baseball hero for opening day. Mark Buerhle not only gave up 7 runs in less than 2 innings, he did so with complete disregard for the effect it would have on my FMLB team. Ass. It's hard to believe that this moron ever threw a no-hitter.

To quote from the bible "he is considered an efficient pitcher, pitching quickly and keeping his pitch count low." Well, no kidding, when you can't finish 2 innings, that's pretty quick work, and keeps your pitch count low.

Honorable mention goes to Jeff Francis who walked like 6 guys and gave up 5 runs, in a little over 2 innings before the game got washed away.

Who are your opening day heroes (s)? AND WHY?

Gagne. Blew the save, gave up 3ER, AND got the win.

gagne was just padding his stats, he's all about Wins this year

Gagne's gonna win 40 games this season.

I still say everyone should get a playoff bonus.

BLUE said...

playoff bonuses are for losers...not everyone can be a winner freak

60% of the league makes the playoffs. A playoff "bonus" would really compromise the winnings for the team/teams that actually do something.

5 dollars for each playoff team.
